Translator Gatherings
The first in a series of Translator Gatherings was held at the House over three days, from 20th to 22nd September. This initial gathering focused on song translation. Joaquín Carbonell gave a workshop on the translation and adaptation of Brassens’ songs, and Gabriel Sopeña ran a workshop on poetry and musical adaptation.
On the last day, the House opened its doors to members of the public, who were invited to attend a performance of the translations, by Joaquín Carbonell, Gabriel Sopeña and the workshop participants, accompanied by Philippe Charlot.
